BEYOND THE WILDS has specific general rules that pertain to members on the site, however please keep in mind that the site also follow's proboards terms of service. If a rule is not specifically listed, that does not give a member a right to behave un-appropriately. Please take the time to read all of the guidelines below.

due regard for the feelings, wishes, rights, or traditions of others.

In more layman terms, don't act up. We should not have to remind everyone of what our parents should have taught us. Remember that everyone is here to roleplay and have a good time. Don't explicitly ruin it for someone else by being rude, sarcastic, flaming members, trolling, etc. These actions bring out the worst in people, and as staff we aim to avoid that at all costs, so act respectfully, maturely, and honestly. This rule applies to all forms of communication (i.e skype/discord) used by site members.

PG-13

you agree to proboards terms of service as soon as you make an account for this site.

We are a pg-13 site, so avoid excessive swearing, and any forms of sexual content. This also is relevant to all character art on forum. Be tasteful; we don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Some violence and bad language is tolerated, but show some proper restraint.

the exclusive legal right, given to an originator or an assignee to *create material, and to authorize others to do the same.

It goes without question that we do not allow any sort of copyright infringement. Do not steal, copy, or use anything that belongs to someone else without permission. This also pertains to material found offsite. Make sure to credit creators where it is necessary.

Character Creation

we have a firm five character limit

Characters are made per account; thanks to proboards you can use the same email for all of them. Out of Character accounts are reserved for staff only, as they are unnecessary for normal members. Please change your DISPLAY NAME to reflect your character name or their alias.

Face Claims

we are an animanga site

Face claims must be animanga in style, but original art is allowed as well. --Just no real life face claims will be allowed for use. Shared face claims are not allowed unless both parties agree to it. The face claim thread will be checked often, as all inactive characters will have their claim removed. Canon face claims are allowed only if the character created is not a carbon copy of the Canon claim.

In Character

There is no specific word count; -- no one liners

B.T.W runs on liquid time, though we ask that members are realistic about their sense of time and don't state that they are in two places at once for events that happen in the same time. BEYOND THE WILDS is also a plot based death enabled site; meaning that character death is a possibility for those that take drastic action. Yet, death is consensual from both parties. --It has to make sense.

Graphics

The Hover size is 250x350

You are required to have a single icon (or more if you wish ) and a single 250x350 image for the miniprofile hover. If you have trouble procuring art, many members and staff can help. Disclaimer: If your image is stretched or overly blurry, it may be subject to RAAVA 's wrath, in which she will fix it for you. Please refrain from using GIFS! and from making SIGNATURES.
